Natalie Fulton

After graduating, Natalie moved to Washington, D.C., to work for the Democratic National Committee. Following the 2022 midterms, she worked as a research assistant focusing on voting rights, civil rights, and democracy defense. Currently, Natalie works for the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee and lives in Los Angeles. She spends the entirety of her free time fostering her intellectual curiosity by reading as much fiction, non-fiction, and theory as she can, finding joy, purpose, and identity as a lifelong American Studies scholar.
Brooke Bennett

After graduating from UC Berkeley in 2022, Brooke completed a Master’s in American Studies at Columbia University and is now working on her PhD in English Language and Literature at the University of Michigan, where she studies 20th century American cultural criticism and intellectual history.
Daniel Etter

After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley, Daniel Etter began his career at Lockehouse Retail Group as a commercial real estate broker. In 2024, upon being accepted into the American Airlines Cadet Academy, Daniel is now pursuing his lifelong dream to be a pilot and accepted the invitation to attend. Tyson Ross

After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley, Tyson Ross began his professional career in baseball operations with the Los Angeles Dodgers, where he serves as a Special Assistant to Player Development and Performance. In this role, he collaborates with players and coaches throughout the organization, drawing on his decade-long Major League Baseball experience to help cultivate and prepare the next generation of big leaguers. Dewi Zarni

Dewi currently works at the Prison Law Office, a nonprofit, public interest law firm, which fights to uphold the rights and humanity of incarcerated people in California prisons and jails through class action lawsuits and other impact litigation.
Claire Rider

Claire is currently the Head of Strategy and Operations for The Farmlink Project, a food justice nonprofit. She was a double major in American Studies and Anthropology and she received the Kroeber Prize in the Anthropology Department for her honors thesis.
Harley Rader

After graduating with honors, Harley moved to Los Angeles where she currently serves California’s 37th Congressional District as a caseworker in the office of Sydney Kamlager-Dove. Often pulling from all three of her study areas (American Studies, Society and Environment, and Public Policy), she finds herself in an impactful position to apply the knowledge she gained from her time at Berkeley both through educating stakeholders and uplifting the voices of those underserved.
Tevel Pele

After graduating from UC Berkeley in the Spring of 2022, Tevel moved back to Los Angeles to pursue economic justice and equity work at a non-profit. She hopes to continue that work through librarianship and start her Master’s of Library and Information Science in the Fall of 2024.
