Fay is back at home on the south shore of Oʻahu, plotting his return to Oakland where he hopes to spend the next few years playing, organizing, and learning.

Afton has moved back home to Los Angeles to continue searching for the good in the overlooked. While awaiting responses for political and cultural journalism fellowships, she spends her time writing, cooking, and debating the pros and cons of a masters degree.

Elyse Miller

Elyse is currently finishing her study abroad program in New Zealand. She has plans to start her working holiday visa in Melbourne, Australia, this winter. She has interests in traveling, making documentary films, and hopes to start a MFA degree program with a specialization in Documentary filmmaking in London, England, late next year.

After graduating, Val completed an internship in the Department of Photographs with the Getty Center Museum and made contributions to the Queer Lens: A History of Photography exhibition (June 2025). More recently, he has returned to Berkeley and is in the process of settling into his new home and working life.  

Brittany Postle

Brittany is currently a research assistant to Professor Laverne Jacobs, Special Rapporteur and member of the United Nations Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. She is a member of the Disability Rights Working Group at the BerkeleyCenter on Comparative Equality and Anti-Discrimination at Berkeley Law. She works as a Reader for Professor Gold McBride in American Studies. She is continuing on her path of disability as belonging and pursuing a path in higher education in the next graduate cycle.

Jackie Morgan

Jackie is currently in Oakland trying to find post-graduation work in the Urban Planning sector. She is keeping herself busy by reading, writing, making music, and playing board games with her friends. She hopes to go back to school in the coming year to either continue with City Planning or pursue a career in academia through American Studies.

Simone Nguyen

Simone is currently preparing to teach English in Madrid for the next year through the NALCAP program. Upon returning home, she will pursue a fellowship in public affairs to gain experience in public policy and local government.

Genevieve Schweitzer

Genevieve Schweitzer photo

Genevieve is a master’s student at the Sciences Po Paris School of International Affairs, studying human rights law with a concentration on gender. She is researching global restrictions on sexuality education with Human Rights Watch and Sciences Po Law School.
